Jeroen Seghers
Chief Executive Officer
Jeroen obtained his Bachelor Degree with a distinction in Computer Science from Hogeschool Gent, specializing in software engineering, and took a Master Class in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School. Growing up around artistic people shaped his feeling for aesthetics, which evolved through the branding and marketing work he did on various projects.
From the age of 15, Jeroen has founded several websites and early on teamed up with Jonathan Beddoes. Together with Christopher Cain they founded StartNow International Ltd, and consulted Neoteric Ltd (Warez.com & Warez P2P), iPhox Ltd and P2P Innovative Ltd.
Jonathan Beddoes
Chief Operational Officer
Jonathan obtained his bachelor degree of Computer Science at Manchester University in three short years with honors. Following his childhood passion for computers, Jonathan started building websites aged 13, learning various programming languages early on. By 17, Jon started his first business, Flying Hosts Ltd - a web-hosting services company which was later sold.
Following his early successes, Jon began to work with similar entrepreneurial minds, namely Chris and Jeroen. Showing determination and enthusiasm, Jon quickly established the importance of shifting roles from programmer and designer to manager and business developer.
Mark S. Hirschfield LLB
Non Executive Chairman
Mark joined RadFactory in February 2007 in order to oversee all corporate affairs and business development matters. Since studying his law degree at The University of Birmingham in 1997, Mark has been involved in a wide range of internet companies.
Mark is a qualified corporate lawyer with 6 years experience practicing law at leading law firms Berwin Leighton Paisner LLP and Mishcon de Reya. During Mark's legal career, he developed a unique reputation for being a well regarded entrepreneurial internet lawyer and was instrumental in advising a wide range of highly successful internet companies on their legal affairs, ranging from general corporate to AIM listings and M&A deals.
Following his national award of Student Entrepreneur of the Year in 1999, Mark has had a variety of other directorships in the internet, property and retail sectors.
Ignacio Lucea
SVP, Business Development
Ignacio joined Radfactory in early 2009 as SVP, Business Development. Ignacio's background in digital media services as well as his entrepreneurial experience in the creation of innovative digital projects, brings a fresh business perspective and valuable commercial experience to Radfactory.
Ignacio obtained his Law degree at Madrid, San Pablo-CEU University in 2000 and an Intellectual Property and New Media Master Degree from San Pablo-CEU Business School in 2001. Before finishing his Master Degree Ignacio joined Garmendia & Asociados, on the of the most prominent IP & Media law firms in Spain.
By 2004 Ignacio moved to the US to become co-founder and COO of Mashboxx.com, a pioneer start-up aimed to create an innovative P2P based music service, being the first P2P service to be fully licensed by the four major record labels.
Then, in late 2007 Ignacio joined Blueprint Digital - now part of Ascent Media - as Commercial Manager. Blueprint is a specialized digital media company, working closely with US and Uk major content retailers and major movie studios to create innovative digital video offering and digital media distribution services.
Markus Kern
Chief Technical Officer
Having started programming computers at the age of 12, Markus has over 13 years of experience in writing software in various languages and on different platforms. After starting a web-design company while still being in school he continued to work on Open Source projects and as a consultant while studying physics. Markus is currently doing research for his diploma thesis at a German university.
Matthew Gertner
Development Consultant
Until recently Matthew was the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of AllPeers. Matthew is also a contributor to Mozilla Prism and actively involved in development of Mozilla related products and services. He likes playing golf, backgammon and piano, cooking, thinking and writing about technology, mastering foreign languages.
Charles Van Sebroeck
Development Consultant
After first contact with computer programming at a young age, Charles began working with BASIC on an Apple II computer. Upon obtaining a computer systems degree, Charles worked in the Plastic Manufacturing sector much needed managerial knowledge to its IT skills. Over the last 11 years, Charles has worked as web developer on a plethora of projects using language such as PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, Flex 2, Flex 3, AS3 and many others.
Sergey Zozulya
Project Manager & Development Team Leader
Zozulya is a veteran web developer and team leader, with over 13 years of total IT experience, including 10 years of client-side and server-side programming in Delphi, C#, and many other languages. "Zozo" also has over 8 years of Oracle, MSSQL and MySQL databases modeling experience and 8 years of projects analysis and management experience. Building on top of his impressive technical background, Zozulya primary specialisation is project management, with further experience in system analysis and modeling (including database modeling) and client-side, server-side and web programming.
Tristram Oaten
Software Engineering Consultant
Tristram is a graduate of Southampton University, UK, where he was taught by some of the leaders in the field of web research. After discovering Python mid-way though his undergrad degree at Plymouth, he has become somewhat of a Python evangelist, and believes that there are few problems that cannot be solved with this amazing language. He is also a Linux advocate, both on the server and desktop. When not at work or writing about himself in the third person, he can be found tinkering with his guitar and programming in equal measure.
Laurent Mouflier
Web/Flash Designer
Laurent is a graphic/web/flash designer, from Paris living in South London, with over 10 years experience in designs. He studied at the SAE Institute in North London doing course in Multimedia & Web Design and keep on learning new skills such as advanced flash cartooning, action-scripting and 3d Modelling software, maya. When his computer finally goes to sleep, Laurent enjoy playing blues music in festivals and venues around the world and had the privilege of jamming with Otis Grand, Mick Taylor, Phil May and many others.
Margaret Rose Tarrosa
Quality Assurance Engineer
Having grown thoroughly bored with Florida's blue skies and ever-present sunshine, Maggie fled to London, where she was adopted at RadFactory. She brings to the team her broad experience in software quality assurance, as well as an appreciation for intuitive design, elegant solutions, and their continual improvement through attention to detail. When not clicking and clacking away in front of a computer, she can be found dancing, cooking, or clumsily doing cartwheels at a nearby park.
Charlie Beddoes
Media and Editorial Consultant
Charlie is a bass player and singer with 15 years experience in the music industry. She has been signed to major and independent labels as a songwriter with her own bands, and has also worked as a session musician, co-producer, manager and music journalist. Since 2005, Charlie has acted as a consultant specialising in media and entertainment for a variety of Internet companies.
Oana Teodorescu
Administrative Consultant
With a great deal of experience in sales and financial accounting, Oana joined the team in December 2007 as an administrative consultant. Her main duty is to analyze the structure of projects and to recommend changes to help the corporation streamline its workflow. Her creativity, self-discipline, and persistent hard work make her a valuable piece of any puzzle.
